Works on Show – The Great Imagining

“Nature as artist” is the theme for this exhibition and series of events, run by The House of Fairytales, collaborators with Gavin Turk Studios amongst others. My works are “Early Bird”, neon thread hand-stitched onto leather, and “You Can’t Stop the Wind” which features one of my dictums in my handwriting embroidered on the dividing line of a Ukrainian flag that I bought in Kharkiv in 2016 while working out there: “You Can’t Stop the Wind From Carrying a Seed.” These works are one of a kind and part of my journey, I hadn’t wanted to sell them, but I am inspired by Deborah and the collective and all they do. This is the second time I’m showing with The Great Imagining.

Speaking as part of the Garden of Tomorrow event series was Satish Kumar, founder of the world-making magazine “Resurgence and Ecologist Magazine.” I first came across a copy near my UCL campus in the backstreets, in the late 1990s, and was stunned at the insight.
