Internet Freedom Conference on Reclaimed WWII Warship

One of Europe’s greatest anti-Nazi’s Marshal Tito once owned the GALEB, sunk in WWII…

Now it’s in the hands of the Serbian Exit team, who present a practically free conference of dance, workshops, performances and talks on freedom of information and healthy international internet sociability called REPUBLIKA FEST. New ideas, new movements, new realities.
I’ll be DJing on the first night from 3am at Tunel, one of Croatia’s main dance venues, near the ship at Školjić, Rijeka.

Republika is a 3-day seaside meeting of forward thinkers from all
around the world in a festival of creativity and progressive culture. It
consists of talks, discussion panels, workshops, screenings,
entertainment and music programs organized by prominent international
festivals such as SHARE (Belgrade, Beirut), A MAZE (Berlin,
Johannesburg) and PAUSE (Melbourne), amplified by new regional projects –
RockPaperStartups and Start Art Expo.

I’m playing a bespoke set of politics involving everything from quotes about Iranian satellite jamming to electrofied sea shanties for this crowd, who are going to be massive in every way.
