It has been over 60 days since the murder of Mahsa Amini by Iran’s official law enforcement.
To support the ones putting themselves n harm’s way for a chance of freedom. I used my platform to give Iranian women a forum in which to speak. Aimed at being played outside Iran the open call was to speak directly to the people of Britain. I asked women from Iran to think about what we overseas should know, and what we might do, and there surprising, important results surfaced. In the second half of the show, I interview in the studio the seasoned and renowned activist Steve Marsling about how as a white, cockney teen from South East London he ended up helping bring down the bloody regime of apartheid in South Africa.
